The Different Needz Foundation Awards Twenty-Two Grants

The Different Needz Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded twenty-two (22) monetary grants. Grants were awarded to successful applicants for special needs medical equipment and therapy services. The Foundation specifically approved grants for communication devices, summer camps, physical therapy services, medical equipment, a bathing chair, walkers, wheelchairs, an adaptive stroller, speech therapy, therapeutic riding and adaptive swings. Grant recipients were mostly from northeast Ohio, but also were from other Ohio areas and Florida.

“We are pleased that in our first year we were able to help so many special needs individuals, families and organizations. We are working hard to raise funds so that we can award more grants next year,” said Peter Bern, Chairman of the Board for the Different Needz Foundation.
